About

Cambridge-trained.
India-rooted. Globally oriented.

I am a legal scholar, educator, and advocate whose work sits at the intersection of international law, EU governance, and legal education. I hold an LLM in International Law from the University of Cambridge, specialising in EU Trade and Digital Law, International Commercial Litigation, and Intellectual Property Law.

Over the past two years I have designed and delivered courses in EU Law, International Law, and Comparative Law for undergraduate and postgraduate students across Indian law schools. I have also developed interdisciplinary courses that integrate psychology, child protection, and law — reflecting my belief that legal education must speak to the full complexity of human experience, not just the statute book.

I led an AI literacy programme at a national law school, contributed to a Massive Open Online Course on climate justice under a Jean Monnet Chair, and have participated in research spanning international maritime policy, international criminal law, and digital governance. My advocacy work spans child safety, gender inclusion, and access to global legal education.

I founded Meraki Law because I believe global law should not be a privilege. Every Indian lawyer deserves access to the ideas, frameworks, and conversations that shape the world.

Pro Bono & Community Work

Law in service of people.

Outside my academic and consulting practice, I believe in using law as a tool for social change. Through Meraki — my rights-based legal awareness initiative — I have worked with schools, NGOs, government bodies, and marginalised communities to make legal knowledge accessible, protective, and empowering.

My pro bono work blends three disciplines I care deeply about: law, child psychology, and education. The projects below represent that intersection in practice.

Project Safeguard — Know Your Rights, Stay Safe
Legal awareness and child safety education for school students

A structured, age-appropriate programme delivered to school students combining child protection law, body autonomy, and psychological safety. Drawing on my background in psychology and law, the programme goes beyond legal definitions — it gives children the language, confidence, and frameworks to recognise, resist, and report harm.

Delivered in partnership with NGOs, educational institutions, and local government bodies, the programme has reached students across varied socioeconomic backgrounds, with a particular focus on specially-abled children and inclusive learning environments. Content includes child sexual abuse awareness, safe and unsafe touch, digital safety, and age-appropriate sex education grounded in both legal frameworks and developmental psychology.

What they say

Words from students & colleagues.

As an LLM student with just a year to absorb so much, it’s rare to find teachers who leave a lasting impact in such a short span. Despite being younger than many in the faculty, your clarity, engaging style, and student-focused approach make learning genuinely meaningful. Your ability to simplify complex topics of EU Law and connect theory with real world relevance truly sets you apart.

Your genuine care and concern for your students and your articulate teaching style have had a profound impact on me. I appreciate your efforts and how you made each class engaging and enjoyable. I feel truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from someone as exceptional as you.

Your invaluable guidance, encouragement, and constant support throughout my research journey shaped my work and helped me grow as a researcher. One of the best things that happened to me during this academic journey was having you as my guide. I will always remain grateful for your patience, clarity, and the confidence you instilled in me.
